Footprint is an original music competition for residents of North Somerset and for all ages. There are fantastic prizes to be won and the opportunity to play your music to the masses.
Psycho Baby steal the show to win the competition!
The show helped raise £1000 towards the Charlie Derrick Music Bursary; a Fund which helps musicians work towards their aims in music, whatever they may be.
Musicians who receive Bursaries are invited to in the future do gigs to help raise money to keep the fund going for other musicians and so build a self help community run by musicians for musicians.
"It’s a simple idea but the best possible form of social networking site there can be" says founder Jules Derrick
If musicians out there would like to joint he network they simply have to let us know by sending an email to ryan@footprint.org.uk. Just give Ryan your details and we will publicise your event on the site.
Bursary applications can also be made online but you have to tell us how you intend to give something back to the community.
